Originally known as Yorba Linda's
“downtown,” Main Street represents a cherished nostalgia for residents.
What started as an unpaved road
with scattered shops has grown
into a diverse group of local businesses
today. Several historical structures
remain on the street, as a quiet reminder
of the long-standing role Main Street
has played in the Yorba Linda community.
Main Street Merchants Association
(MSMA) was founded in 1992 as a collaboration of business owners
who came together to promote a shared community
interest along Main Street.
With an emphasis on community,
MSMA exists to preserve the rich history of Main Street, support local merchants, and utilize
the original downtown as a venue for
public gathering.
Over the years, the Main Street Merchants Association (MSMA) has organized and hosted
numerous community events.
These have varied in type,
with the exception of December’s Holiday on Main Street, which has an uninterrupted 30-year history.
Our second signature event
Celebrate Yorba Linda
was established in 2015 and has quickly grown into one of the community’s most popular events.
